The Parks of the south / SELOUS
Selous is probably Africa’s the biggest preserve. The preserve is named after an English captain, Frederik Courtney Selous. He was buried in the park after his death in 1917.
That preserve hosts the biggest elephant herd, the most beautiful antelopes and a diversity of birds and reptilians. Selous is a unique preserve and the “wildest” preserve among all of them.
Best period: june to February
