The parks of the North / N'GORONGORO
N’Gorongoro isn’t just a crater. The N’Gorongoro Conservation Area is an 8288km2 preserve hugging the volcanic hills between the lakes Natron, Eyasi and Manyara. It stretches in the North including a part of the plains the East of Serengeti. The whole isn’t called National Park as the Masaïs are allowed to live freely.
The concentration of wild animals in that natural fortress appears like a recovered paradise on earth. Rhinoceros, lions (there are many), elephants, buffalos, all sorts of antelopes…are there for you to spend a memorable moment in the site.
Best season: all year long, rainfall in april
